new alternator fitted
-

-
the work

The car is
correctly registered as a Robin Hood S7 and the current mileage is still
less than 1000 since
build, having been stored for the last 2 years. We
have the previous MOTs (last one expiring 6/12/2005
when the mileage was
822) and a file contain the SVA test details and receipts for almost
every
component right down to nuts and bolts used during the build.
Here are the
details received from the builder when purchased by the last owner.

This is the transcript
of information advised to the previous owner by the builder:
ROBIN HOOD S7
This is a
unique chance to own a truly outstanding car, which is the best built
and the best looking
Robin Hood I have ever seen. What’s more it has
only just been registered, it passes SVA at the
end of December 2003 and
has a full MOT and tax.
The
specification of the car is simply amazing with no expense having been
spared using only new

Further information from the original owner reflecting only his own
opinions
The
chassis is a monocoque and not the inferior space-frame chassis that the
company have now
been forced to produce after being taken to court by Caterham. It Is made from mild steel and
is fully galvanised, it comes
from a 1994 S7 kit which was bought un-started by me a couple of
years
ago having been dry stored from new.
The car
is finished in Kawasaki green 2 pack paint professionally applied, the
under side of the
car has several coats of Hamerite Waxoil underbody
sealant which combined with the galvanised
chassis means this car could
last a lifetime.
Parts are
cheap and easy to find as the car uses a ford sierra donor car.
The car
was built by me an engineer and cost me an awful lot more than I will
ever get from
selling it, in fact I have receipts for many thousands of
pounds. It was never my intention to
sell this car but now that it is
finished a fantastic opportunity has arisen for me abroad which
I would
be a fool to turn down.
